The introvert’s guido to talking to pet owners about test results

Has this ever happened to you? You spent 15 minutes in the exam room convincing a pet owner to pay for a blood test to help their pet, and the test results came back completely normal….and now you have to call them to give them the news. Or have you ever given a smart, comprehensive explanation of test results to a pet owner, only to find out they aren’t the main caregiver for the pet, weren’t really listening, and they want you to repeat everything you just said to their someone else? I’ve been there! Talking about the complexity of diagnostic testing and results with pet owners is a challenge, especially for us introverted veterinarians. This live event includes a 30-minute presentation and a 15-minute Q&A discussion.

Join me for some tips and tricks on how to:

  • Gain confidence in talking to pet owners about test results
  • Talk about unexpected results from diagnostic testing
  • Use technology to improve communication with pet owners and save you time
