We have opened all upcomping 2-days sessions of the current 3-year IVC Evidensia differentiation trajectory for orthopedic surgeons as stand alone courses for interested colleagues (maximum of 3) from outside this trajectory. These courses are intended for the more advanced orthopedic surgeon.
This two-day course will consist of theoretical sessions (morning) aimed at the practical aspects of the diagnosis and management of pelvic limb lameness – namely focusing on the stifle (first day) and on tibial and femoral fractures (day two).
The practical sessions (afternoon) will allow participants to perform surgery for correction of medial patellar luxation – soft tissue imbrication/ capsulectomy, tibial tuberosity transposition, block recession sulcoplasty. On the second day participants will perform fracture repair of the femur and tibia.
