Ventilation and Monitoring in Small Animal Anesthesia! Click here for more information
This two-day course will build your confidence in the ventilation and monitoring of small animal patients during general anaesthesia, delivered by two European specialists in Veterinary Anaesthesia who are passionate about teaching. We’ll use a mixture of interactive lectures and hands-on practicals to aid your learning and problem-solving around simulated cases.
On Day One, we’ll cover case planning, set up of ventilators, baseline setting and monitoring using capnography and spirometry, then take the concepts from lectures into practicals. To wrap up the day, we’ll have a Q&A session where you can bring your own case and questions to ask the anaesthesia Specialists.
On Day Two, We’ll take a practical approach to monitoring, covering ECGs, arterial blood pressure, and blood gas assessment, with more practical and case-based sessions.
